Step-By-Step Guide to installing the PTI certificate
The first thing you will see when accessing a form on one of our sites is the following challenge pop-up window or something similar:
As you can see from the message, the browser does not recognize PTI as a Certificate Authority. You can choose to view the certificate which will bring up a window similar to this:
As you can see, this window provides you some information on who issued the certificate to whom. For all the PTI sites, the issuer should be PT Internet, Inc. ROOT CERTIFICATE AUTHORITY.
After looking at the certificate and closing the second window, you have the option to add the certificate permenantly or not. If you choose to add the certificate permenantly, you will not have to go through this process again. If you choose not to add the certificate, you can still go on and perform transactions with us by clicking continue.
If you choose not to continue, you can click cancel but then you will not be able to transact securely with PTI. If you do choose not to perform transactions with us due to this fact, please drop us an email and let us know. You can reach us at ca@ptinternet.net.
