First and foremost, let us assure you that PTI is dedicated to
making sure that you have a secure environment for all your

(SSL) in our web server to provide you with industry standard

However, we do not believe in raising our prices in order to get our site certificates signed by well known Certificate Authorities such as Verisign. Instead, we operate our own Certificate Authority who signs all the certificates for the sites we operate. This means that the first time you access one of the forms from one of our sites, you will be prompted by your browser to examine a certificate and then will be asked whether you would like to install our certificate. You should answer yes to this question and from that point forward your browser will be able to encrypt data to our server and our server will be able to encrypt data to your browser. The reason people ask a well known certificate authority (CA) to sign their certificates is because that signature is supposed to mean that the company has been checked out by that CA. In truth, most well known CA's have a website where a company can submit a signing request and the company will get a signed certificate back in 24 hours or as soon as they receive payment.
